EIS is contributing two talks to Saarland University’s open day. Timo Speith (research assistant: Chair of Theoretical Philosophy) will give an introduction to the Dimensions of Machine Explainability (10 am, room HS 26, building B4 1). After that, Kevin Baum (research assistant: Chair of Practical Philosophy, Dependable Systems Group) will present current research regarding the question Why We Ought to be Able to Understand Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms (same room).
