One of the biggest coups for EIS was to have a paper accepted at the renowned IEEE Requirements Engineering Conference
during the project’s planning grant period. Consequently, Maximilian Köhl and Timo Speith, two of the paper’s authors, flew to South Korea to present their work to an interested community. During their stay, both of them noticed how well research concerning explainability fits into the Requirements Engineering community. This was also mirrored by the large number of questions asked after the paper presentation. Timo and Maximilian not only took a lot of feedback back home, but also many new connections and at least one cooperation partner for upcoming papers. The conference offered much space for in-depth discussion for new projects and endeavors, which Maximilian and Timo both are going to pursue for the next RE!
